Our
full service international freight  department
understands the complexity of
freight movements through international ports as have long term
experience with Far Eastern freight forwarders and customs brokers.
So your freight is not delayed, we carefully review all
the paperwork to spot problems ahead of time with faxed copies of
steamship notification, delivery orders, ocean and inland bills
of lading, packing lists and customs forms.
And because of our familiarity
with the different steamship lines, CFS stations and container yards,
we know all the particulars and requirements that are necessary
to ensure that all documents are accurately filled out with the
proper information: correct origin, berth, bill of lading numbers,
weight, piece count, addresses, etc. so your freight is not
delayed.
We will contact the customs
broker and ensure that delivery orders, OBL and charges, and
customs documents are in order and ready to present for pickup of
your freight. By pre-booking equipment prior to cargo arrival and
our staff checking regularly for availability of your freight at
the port, we can secure your freight promptly and move it on its
way. We will make sure that all marks and exceptions
are noted and that no shortages or overages occur. We understand
how errors can cost you time and money when freight cannot be moved
our job is to get it right the first time!

Optimization

installation solutions to move your freight off the docks, through
the harbor and on the road to its destination.
b. With our load engineering
and transportation project management, we develop load plans for
project cargo and plant moves from 1 truckload to 100 truckloads. We
analyze each packing list, convert loads from metric and develop
the optimum number and type of tractor and trailer combinations
to efficiently transport your shipment.

Transload
and Heavy Lift
We
offer transload and heavy lift services to more efficiently and
economically move your freight inland to its destination -whether
it is LTL, FTL, or breakbulk cargo. We co-ordinate shipping and
lifting resources (from 2000 pound forklifts to 175 ton cranes)
to efficiently and economically position your cargo from dock to
trailert and will have an on dock supervisor available to ensure
your loads are loaded efficiently and safely.

We
provide you with a single point of contact in our office - someone
who will work with you every step of the way, who can respond
quickly to your needs and ensure that your move goes according to
plan. Using our sophisticated software system that supports
our operations, pricing and routing, we can provide you with daily
tracing to monitor your shipment status, or if you prefer, you can
maintain access to that information by logging in to our website
and using track 'n trace - our proprietary software. Upon your request,
we can provide faxed or e-mailed daily tracing reports to all necessary
parties involved: the importer, freight forwarder, consignee and
rigging company.

Harbor Cartage
We are capable of draying all types of shipping containers
from ports in Los Angeles/Long Beach, San Francisco, Portland and
Seattle to any destination . We can move your container intact or
transload to other transportation equipment.
